David Lucke

David Lucke

David Lucke is the manager of Geographic Information Systems (GIS) and Information Management at the WSGS. He has a bachelor's degree in geography, a master’s in geography, and a second bachelor’s in geology from the University of Wyoming. David was a student research assistant at the WSGS before becoming a full-time digital cartographer. His duties now include supervision of the GIS department, coordination of the agency’s technology resources, and providing guidance for the Outreach and Publication Manager.

David is vice-president of the Laramie Railroad Depot Association and president of his bowling league. He also enjoys spending time outdoors.
